Attention all beginner sailors/racers, intermediate, and those wanting a “refresher” on how to start a sailboat race. CLEAR your calender's for April 15, 9:00 to 11:00 for this seminar. Don Carsten will be conducting a seminar at the club on how to get a good start on your next race. We will be discussing different race courses, how to find the favored end of the start line, flags and signals of the race committee. We will also cover some basics start strategies and approaches to the start line, and rules that apply at the start. This seminar is aimed at the beginner and intermediate sailor/racer, and those wanting a refresher.

Registration will be from 8:15 – 9:00. Come early to help set up and enjoy a coffee and doughnut. We will start the seminar promptly @ 9:00 and will wrap it up about 11:00. Please save your seat by sending a text to Don @ 419-350-8668 by April 13.

The cost is $10.00 per person, ($5.00 for Juniors), proceeds to benefit the club owned boat fund.
